Missouri Man Fatally Shoots Wife
while Installing Satellite TV System

SEDALIA, Mo. (AP) -- Officials are trying to decide whether to file
charges against a Missouri man who fatally shot his wife while trying to
install a satellite TV system in their home.

Thirty-four-year-old Patsy Long of Deep Water was pronounced dead
Saturday evening after being shot in the chest with a .22-caliber
handgun. Her husband -- Ronald Long -- fired the shot from the inside of
their home after several unsuccessful efforts to punch a hole through
the exterior wall using other means.

Henry County Sheriff's Deputies say the woman was hit by the second of
two shots fired by her husband.

Investigators say a person involved in such a case normally would be
charged with manslaughter, but that was up to the prosecutor.

Would that make a large enough hole for satellite cable?

What other means had he already tried?

Hypothyroidism is a seriously debilitating condition with an insidious
onset.
Although common it frequently goes undiagnosed.

They don't tend to use much brisck/block over there.
..22 wouldn't get far otherwise.
Not much of a shot if he missed the wall!

This is about the most novel excuse for murder I have ever heard...

Does the defence plea involve 'shotgun cable'?
