What's *unusual* is getting fined 497 million euros for violating
EU competition law.

Is that as well as the 2000 million euros in the press a couple of weeks
ago?

Right you are, the 497 mill Euros was the 2004 fine. They've now got
another 681 million GBP against them, making a total in excess of a
billion quid.

Sounds like the EU wants some cash for its slush fund.

Sounds like MS just won't behave ethically.

Stucco *on top* of insulation? That's very advanced for the fens.

It's the presence of the insulation that destabilises the stucco on top.

That's one of those things where you'd only notice that it's been done
if it goes wrong. It's mismatching your insulation, vapour barrier &
render that makes it go wrong.

And the experience in the USA is that it almost always does go wrong.

And something else that goes wrong...

Its not a problem.. a lot of people will just invest in gens if the supply
is perceived as unreliable.. you know that for virtually every wind turbine
there has to be a fast start gas/diesel generator and they could be in
homes.
