Established in 1986, STF have dominated the UK stainless steel
fasteners market for 2 decades. Part of the SRB Ltd Group of
Companies, STF operate from 50,000 sq. ft. premises in the Heart of
the West Midlands, delivering next day anywhere to mainland UK.

Over 10,000 line items of A2, A4, A4-80 and brass fasteners are fully
controlled by an integrated SAP computer system. With direct access to
all group company stock, STF’s experienced sales staff are able to
respond promptly to all customers’ enquiries and orders.

The full range of A2, A4 and A4-80 stainless steel fasteners are

I wonder if STF Fasteners know that their web provider, eSterling, is
spamming newsgroups as part of their Internet Marketing Solution? Yep,
this is the same guy that everyone jumped on yesterday when he was
'promoting' A&N Joinery. So, perhaps emails to the companies concerned
to let them know what Mr Sanders screwing up their business and maybe
even charging them money for the privilege.

As far as I can see they're wholesalers anyway, so they're not likely to
want to supply half a dozen bolts and nuts to your average d-i-y-er!

Hello,

I'd like to apologise for "spamming" on your forum. I recently posted
an add on behalf of a client, which was against Usenet rules.

Taking this into account, I can understand how genuine users of usenet
will be offended by all the spamming which takes place, and would like
to offer my sincere apologies.

It was no fault of the client, and I would be more than happy if any
offended users would like to forward their issues to me, which I will
be happy to address and respond to personally.

My actions were clearly intruding, and I can assure all users that it
will not be happening again.

Kindest regards,

Martin Sanders

And you didn't realise that you were 'intruding' ..?

Maybe you should read your own website - under 'Glossary of Terms'
it says

=============

Spam Very controversial. Refers to the act of posting the same
message to several inappropriate newsgroups or, more commonly, mass
mailing unsolicited email messages.

=============

If I, as one of your clients, had paid you between 75 pounds and 465
pounds per month for your advertised service .........

quote
This is where eSterling differs, our Microsoft Approved technical
specialists are constantly looking for ways to improve our knowledge
of eMarketing, with eSterling Ltd you are in safe hands.

.......then I'd be massively pi**ed off if you thought it was
appropriate to spam my website across the newsgroups - after all - you
are supposed to be the experts.

Talk about the blind leading the blind !

If you don't understand that usenet = no ads unless there is an
'.ad.'/'adverts' in the group name then perhaps you are in the wrong
business.

Thanks for the apology, accepted if you would be good enough to tell us
if BT contacted you following an abuse report, I've previously regarded
them as the chocolate fireguard of abuse management so it would be nice
to get an update on their current performance.

Hi -

You may be aware that adverts for your company are being posted to internet
discussion groups by someone called .

You may not be aware that these groups have a firmly-held prohibition upon
commercial advertising, and there is a lot of ill-feeling towards people who
defy that convention.

Your agent has chosen to post one such message into a group called uk-diy,
and thus antagonised a significant element of your market. I suspect this
will not be the only complaint you receive.

Please don't do it again.

Thanks -
