Default any ideas for central heating prob

Hi can ayone help.

I have an Ariston Eurocombi boiler.

During the summer while radiators were off everything was fine with the hot
water.

Switched heating on at weekend and that was ok . However, when i turn taps
on now (heating off but rad valves open) the rads are warming up and tap
water temp is fluctuating.

Cheers.

Sounds like the 3-way valve is not opening or seated properly.

Not sure, but would a primary coil to hot water tank leak cause that?

Cheers.

Diverter valve, probably. As it wasn't operated over the summer, it's
probably got covered in crud, which has stopped it moving properly. Try
exercising it a bit by turning the hot tap and heating on and off a few
times. If this doesn't work, a replacement might be needed.

Also, check your inhibitor levels. These problems are more likely to occur
after a period of corrosion, which shouldn't happen with the right
concentration of inhibitor.
