halogen lights in bathroom- was this a bad idea?
hi there,
i have two bathrooms in my house and have a year ago installed two GEL 22489 (pencil shaped 230v 60W halogen bulbs) inside glass flush fitting lights within a year both (brand name) bulbs have burned out (within a few weeks of each other). i am wondering if halogens are suitable for bathrooms where you switch on and off for a few minutes many times a day. any opinions? thx bulb: http://www.oppictures.com/singleimag...89_1_1_400.JPG lamp: http://www.ascolights.co.uk/lFRA472.jpg |
