Default American Style Fridge/Freezer

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting one of those American style fridge freezers. Can
anyone advise as to the best location for the water supply. Should I get
the supply fitted directly behind the fridge or to the side (with access
through the back of my larder unit)? Also, is there any kind of
special fitting that's needed at the end of the supply pipe? Any other
pitfalls that I should look out for?

Cheers,
Lucy

Can go behind it but depends on whether the filter is inline with the
supply or inside the fridge\freezer. Most are internal, but if it's
external; sticking it the cupboard next to it saves dragging the ff
out to change the filter every now and again.

All you need on the supply pipe is a washing machine tap to connect
to.

Hi

I'd have it fitted to the side - on our fridge freezer, there is no
clearance at all behind it for a tap.

Ours came with adaptors for both 3/4" and 1/2" taps.

Steve
