Default will my ford focus estate carry a cast-iron fireplace

hi,

sort of related to diy...

I've bought a cast-iron fireplace on ebay , horseshoe type (probably
re-production) with wooden surround and marble hearth and plan to pick
it up in my ford focus estate.
Now I'm slightly worried that it may be too heavy...

Anybody reassure me that I won't danage the suspension?

How many people does it take to lift? Payload in my estate is about
600kg.

It might not damage the suspension but it might damage the trim etc

Used to go fishing every weekend in a 2002 Focus estate with two realy
heavey blokes and two medium weight, also with the holdhalls and 4 baskets.
That was from liverpool to shropshire, coming back home we got stopped by
traffic police saying I was doing abit of low flying lol

So 20 miles round trip I cant see it doing any damage to be honest, I would
think the marble will be heavier than the grate?
Just make sure it will all fit in though particulary the fire surround?

Well, if it weighs as much as a car full of people, how are you going to
load it?
