Default icos / isar / istor boiler fault

Hi Pete here, I repair boilers for a leading manufacturer and had a
loverly fault today and it is not uncommon with this type of boiler
gas valve.I was called to a isar with l..f flashing..
I checked for voltage at the gas valve on the conector(still
connected) and that was fine....
Checked negative vaccum on the venturie .. is was also fine.... mmmmmm
scatch head....
got gas...
got ht....
but no flame....
scratch scratch..
I know I will ring Jim, I he said the connecter is faulty..(scotish
accent)
Sure enough the plug may have fitted tight on the gas valve pins but
they were not making contact.
Aparently this is common.
Just thought you chaps would like this if you get one.
Regards
pete

BTW what's the cure? Is it just a matter of re-seating the connector or do
you need to replace bits?
