strange taste and smell from kettle like melted plastic
I have a morphy richards cordless kettle about a year old, with a filter,
recently I have noticed a strange smell ike burnt plastic whenever it boils, and the water tastes of this. I have so far removed the plastic water filter at the top of the kettle, but the smell and taste still remains whenever I use the kettle, there is a tiny amount of limescale at the bottom, but I doubt if this would alter the taste of the water, ofcourse I no longer use the kettle, but just want to know what could be wrong, before discarding it. |

Check the plug for internal arcing. -- -blj- |
