Boiler and Thermostat Setup
Hi
I have a Heatline S30 Compact Boiler and I just wanted to make sure I was setting things up correctly The CH Temp control on the Boiler has an "e" mark (for highest effiecency according to the manual). If the boiler is set to this, which is quite high. I think it heats to about 70C if i remeber correctly. The Prog Room Stat should then be set to desired temps and times. Is this the best setup? or should I leave the Boiler on low? Thanks |

If the boiler also heat the water with a cylinder then you will need to set the boiler high enough to make that happen in a timely manner. That means about 65-75C, i.e. about 10C more than the cylinder is set to. HTH -- Ed Sirett - Property maintainer and registered gas fitter.
