Patio door handle
Bought these patio doors from Wickes about 5 years ago.
Wickes tell me the supplier has gone out of business, so no replacement handles are available. http://wsbstuff.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/index.html Any ideas anyone? -- WSB |

If you can't get a new one, you could probably repair it with GRP on the inside. You'd have to get it off, though. Is it rivetted or screwed? |

Take it off, it looks as if it's held on by posidrive screws and attempt to find any manufacturer's information on concealed surfaces and then try and contact the original manufacturers of the handle. If no joy with that approach then hawk the handle around your local double glazing suppliers, one of them may be able to tell you the manufacturer of the handle, or who used to/ still does supply them. Hmm, the plastic is quite thin and there is a lot of weight on it when the door is opened. Is it rivetted or screwed? Just a couple of screws. Easy to remove. Thanks, WSB |
