Hi All
You arrive hone from work to find the washing machine has packed up. You remove the top, sort out the problem and then spend 15 mins searching the conservatory floor for the final self tapper that holds the top on................................................ . .................................... only to find it sticking to the magnetic bit holder on your drill driver. Grrrr! That's the trouble with today's penny pinching ways - in my day they used to have at least 2 or 3 totally superfluous screws that you had to remove before you got to the one that stuck to the bit driver . . . Luckily you only had to replace 1 of them for security - or 2 to have one spare for next time. |

Grrrr! -- Dave The Medway Handyman Easily done. I once wasted a lot longer than 15 minutes looking for my SDS chuck adaptor before finding it in my SDS drill. Adam |

I usually have a surplus of screws when I finish doing anything to a washing machine. I think the thoughtful manufacturer puts them there in case of losses such as described. john2 |

Before stripping throw a handful of assorted screws into the tray you use to collect the screws in. That way you'll not worry about some being left over on re-assembly. -- *Too many clicks spoil the browse * Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |
