Twin laser level
Since there has been discussion about laser levels before, readers might
like to know that in the current Maplin sale there is a twin laser level (ie it can project 2 lines at right angles) for £7.99. Accuracy is claimed to be 1/4 inch at 30 feet (6mm at 9m). The only silly thing is that whereas it has two spirit levels these only work when you want to project lines onto a hortizontal surface; to project a horizontal line on a wall you'll need your own spirit level. A pity: it would hardly have cost much to put one more in to it. Still looks like a good buy though. Comes complete with a re-usable adhesive and two pins to attach it while you play.
