Central heating Problem
Hi can anyone help My central heating timing switch (landis & gyr) is
turning off as normal I think The lights are goning out anyway But the pump Grundos superselectric 15/60 130 bare pump is still continuously going and the only way I can get it off is the kill the mains power completelly via the swith next to the timer. Sorry I cant find the model number for the landis and gyr switch. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks... |

Normal practice is the switch drives the valve, the valve opens the water circuit and ONLY WHEN OPEN, a micro switch on the valve switches on the boiler and pump. This prevents a failed valve from switching pump and boiler on against a closed circulation path. Find your motorised valve, and see if its stuck. Replace bits as necessary. |
