Default Changing Glass on a ParkRay

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to change the glass on a Parkray
Chiltern (Mark 3) ? Is it as straightforward as unscrewing some nuts
and sliding the glass out or does it involve smashing the glass and
properly fitting it ?

Not suire about that exact model but...

Usually there are some (well corroded) screws holdiong clips in that
hold the glass in place. You will need more (not) asbestos string or
whatever to go round the edges - there is always a lot of expansion to
cater for, so fireproof putties are seldom used - and you need some sort
of seal.

You may smash the glass getting the screws out. A good plavece that
deals in solid fuel applinaces can normally get you all the bits.
