Repair of Car CD/Radio
Hi,
I have a Sony CD/Radio which keeps skipping when trying to play CDs. Is a cleaning disk likely to help? If not does anyone know of a repair agent for these units, or is it time to throw it over the hedge and invest in a new one with added gizmos? |

Bottom line - if it's not just a case of cleaning the laser, replacement is prolly the cheapest solution Thanks Grunff. I have ordered a cd cleaner from a dodgy ebay seller and will give it a whirl. If it doesn't solve it, does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonably priced unit (£100 - £150) that should last a few years and prefferably play MP3CDs and also have a 3.5mm socket for the kiddies to plug their toys (ipods) into (Not that either of them have ipods, but one of them is petitioning the fat man in the red suit!) Regards Zikki Malambo (Thats Mr Zikki Malambo to you'se!) |
