Boiler won't start pump
I've got an old Chaffoteaux et Maury boiler that has stoped working (
Challenger 50 ff). When the boiler fires up the circuit in the boiler is supposed to send 240v to the pump but it doesn't. Done some checks on the pcb and the circuit that controls the pump is not working. Can I diconnect the pump from the boiler and run it from the 3 port diverter valve and central heating progammer instead or will this damage the boiler in any way. Is it the orange wire I connect to the pump? Thanks Martin |
