Default Draining CH System (again)

If you close all the radiator valves before you drain the system will
that mean you don't have to bother with fiddling around with the bleed
valves when you fill it back up?

Cheers.

No, you'll still have to bleed, but not as much.

No. Doing this keeps the water in the rads, any fresh water introduced will
have air mixed and the air will rise to the top of all rads. When screwing
down the lockshield valves note the number of turns, then when opening
unscrew the same amount of turns.

It'll be better, but not elimintated. However, if you haven't drained the
system in a while, drain everything and put new inhibitor in. Your old stuff
may be well past its use by date. It may well be a good idea to flush the
system, if the water comes out too black.

Christian.
