EHT cable connector broken.
I've got a pretty prehistoric Pye TV (1970s vintage I assume) which
has done me proud up to now. However the EHT connector on the back of the CRT has come off and the clip-on connector has broken - it was also very rusty. So I could do with a new connector, but not sure where to get one. Obviously being an ancient Pye spares are rather difficult for this specific model I would have thought! Would any modern EHT connector do the job? BTW I'm in the UK. |

You would be if it's a Pye. You could solder on a paper clip bent to shape for now. Do you ever come across those Pye multiband radios with the huge vertical dial scale forming the front of the set?
