Let's look at those "reasons" to swear (the video is kind of fun,
BTW):

1) Pain management

We realize that you suffer a lot of pain, Bonkers, but it's almost all
self-inflicted.

2) Emotionally Soothing

If we were as ****ed up as you, we'd all be reaching for something to
soothe our emotions, too.

3) Get your point across

As inarticulate an irrational as you are, that's probably the only way
left for you to express yourself when you get out of control.

4) Bond with others -- show you bleong to a certain group

Yes, you're probably most comfortable with foul-mouthed white trash.

5) Elevated endorphins -- sense of well-being

That makes sense. You need the emotional boost.

For a refresher on psychological projection, here's Britannica's
explanation:

"Projection is a form of defense in which unwanted feelings are
displaced onto another person, where they then appear as a threat from
the external world. A common form of projection occurs when an
individual, threatened by his own angry feelings, accuses another of
harbouring hostile thoughts."

Or lying, or fraudulant behavior, etc., all characteristics that have
been identified in you by the many little friends with whom you've
interacted on various CAD and CAM forums.

So you've just described yourself, Jonny. And you're trying to project
it onto others.

Which makes you a full-time loser on RCM. You should try LinkedIn. We
hear you can delete posts that you don't like over there.

Calling the Britannica's explanation of "projection" "psychobabble"
only makes you look like a know-nothing.
