Make sure you're wearing a leather coat and safety goggles when you test your repair.

Do the smart thing: take it to an archery shop that knows what they're doing, or toss it and buy a
new one.

Unfortunately the shop I took it to is the only one within 40 miles and a new bow is 300 to 400 dollars. (for a cheap one)

Put an ad in Craigslist for a used compound and then check Ebay. Ive
bought decent compound bows on Ebay for $15 with $20 shipping. In
fact..Ive purchased 7 on Ebay in the past 10 yrs. Every member of my
family and most of my friends have done this.

I was once told by a “gun safety” advocate back in the Nineties
that he favored total civilian firearms confiscation.
Only the military and police should have weapons he averred and what did I think about that?

I began to give him a reasoned answer and he
cut me off with an abrupt, “Give me the short answer.”

I thought for a moment and said, “If you try to take our firearms we will kill you.”"

of a bad, while telling him not to defend himself or his fellows;
in no way can the success of evil be made quicker or surer.
