That's wrong. Regulation makes all businesses do worse and results in
less output at higher prices to consumers.


That would depend on your definition of "worse." Sure, if the poultry farmers were allowed to sell infected birds, teir profits would go up. For a while, anyway, until all their customers were dead.

How about complying with OSHA regulations that were enacted to keep workers' body parts intact and in place?
