It's always something
Went to ER yesterday after sleeping two days. Fully expected them to keep
me a few days. Poked me a few times, gave me a bag of "stuff". Feeling like crud, sleeping for days at a time, having night sweats. Going to regular doctor Friday. Blood cultures in lab for hantavirus and a couple of other exotic things found in this area. COPD mentioned. Two coughs at a time, nothing comes out. All day, all night. Feel like crapola. This getting old sucks. Steve |

For the last year..Ive been dragging also. Sleeping more than 6 hours, like the dead. Im not sure how much of this is depression, how much is the heat here in the desert, how much is being off most of my heart meds. I think Im low on testosterone as well. And the sudden appearence of Peyronie's disease...that was quite a shock. Go see the vet, if you can afford to. I wish you well. Gunner One bleeding-heart type asked me in a recent interview if I did not agree that "violence begets violence." I told him that it is my earnest endeavor to see that it does. I would like very much to ensure - and in some cases I have - that any man who offers violence to his fellow citizen begets a whole lot more in return than he can enjoy. - Jeff Cooper |

Always a good philosophy in health matters.... "The Squeaky Wheel Gets The Grease!!". And be sure to have a loved one alongside you asking questions and taking notes....keeps the "Give him an aspirin and send him home !" health providers alert. If I had done that, my son may well still have been with us. http://patients.about.com/od/yourdiagnosis/a/How-Common-Is-Misdiagnosis-Or-Missed-Diagnosis.htm Good Luck. Take care. Yeah, that one big downside of living alone. Nobody had your back..
