Well stated, but it is not worthwhile to use logic when responding to Hawke.. He is not capable of any real reasoning. He is not capable of seeing that people get rich by providing goods or services that people want and are willing to pay for them. So everyone he wants to take money from has benefited the public.

As an aside, Microsoft is taking a 6 billion dollar write down on Bing. People prefer Google to Bing. So it is obvious to the most casual observer ( but not to Hawke ) that Google deserves all the money it gets. They have a superior search engine.
