Took wifey's little 2005 Golden Anniversary T Bird, portholes and all, to
Vegas over the weekend. Runs good. 238 CID V8, DOHC, FI, 32 valve, 5 speed, 286 ft lb torque, 280 hp. We liked it, but have decided to take the RAM 2500 on all further trips. It seemed like it had a target on it. Every asshole in Las Vegas (8 out of 10 of the population) either cut us off, or tailgated. Guess they had to get a close look at our classy ride. Steady on the highway, held the road good. Steered with a tiny turn of the wheel. Acceleration very good. Low noise level for ragtop/hardtop. HEATED SEATS! 6 CD Player. But tiny space behind front seats and small trunk. But these were not meant for road trips. They were made for Sunset Boulevard cruising. Can't wait for warmer weather, and I'll pop the top off, and drive up through Zion, the mountains, and come out at Cedar City with the top down. Life is good. Steve |
