VW Jetta oil pan
I have my VW Jetta oil pan damage on the thread of the drain hole and leaking motor oil. I decide to use a larger bolt and re-tap the thread, instead of replacing the oil pan.

Had a smaller drain plug in the middle of it. |

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their? president.. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince". |

There's a threadless plug. It's a hollow Neoprene shaft. When you insert the tool in the end, it stretches to a small enough diameter to slide into the pan. When you remove the tool; it returned to its bulbus shape, sealing against the inside and outside of the hole. -- A host is a host from coast to & no one will talk to a host that's close........[v].(301) 56-LINUX Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433 is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433 |

They do work, for a while - but I've never liked or trusted them long term. A PROPER fix is almost as quick and simple. |

Very good use of your metalworking machines. Your other projects are
interesting too. -- WB .......... "leung.h" wrote in message ... I have my VW Jetta oil pan damage on the thread of the drain hole and leaking motor oil. I decide to use a larger bolt and re-tap the thread, instead of replacing the oil pan. http://www.hteck.ca/metalworkings/VW...rain_plug.html |
