The interesting thing about the ice core data to me is that it shows a
cyclical pattern, with periodic temperature spikes, followed by rapid
cooling. And we are, according to the ice core data, due for the
temperature spike.

The problem with Bill's assertion, which is the same as Gore's assertion,
is that the opposite takes place, and has been taking place for millions
of years. When the global temperature rises, more CO2 is released into
the air.
