And the winner of the Chicken Dinner is.....Obama......... 8% !!! Yep! Thats right! Only 8% !!! ..... the least by far of the last 19 presidents!! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business? They know what's best for GM...Chrysler... Wall Street... and you and me? How can the president of a major nation and society...the one with the most successful economic system in world history... stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one? ...... or about jobs when he has never really had one??! Nope, sorry. 30 seconds of googling shows this to be another echo chamber falshood. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me...et-members-ha/ Reading that article is interesting. Particularly when it shows that the majority of those with "private party" business experience got that as ****ing lawyers. Which have about as much real world rationality as sand spiders. So the article it was taken from was pretty ****ing accurate. Despite your protestations. Gunner Okay, so I guess you need to have run a hamburger or owned a business to be able to function in a government position, is that the idea? Because if you think having business experience somehow prepares you for the job of president or other political jobs you can forget it. If it was years ago you would be saying that only people with military experience are qualified to have government jobs. I'm sorry but this is now the 21st century and you don't need business or military experience to be a successful politician or government worker. In fact, being trained specifically for those jobs is better than any work experience. But all you have to do is look at the results and you see that Obama is doing just fine in his new job and according to some, has no business experience. He's proof that business experience is no longer any kind of prerequisite for government work. In fact, I'd say it doesn't help at all. Just look at Bush. Hawke |
