So...apparently having any idea contray to what the government's
official position is will soon be illegal and subject you to God knows
what. I must be dreaming: there is no way my country could fall so far
so fast.

Are we just going to roll over for this non-sense? I think not, but I
also believe the government is so far gone that this guy could
actually pass the Senate's review and end up on the Court.

I do not like this guy either; he is too amorally pragmatic for me. But as
usual, the extremist blogs have skim read over a few buzz words and worked
themselves (and their readers) into a hate-filled frenzy. For a more

As for the paper you cite, if you read it you see he explores every single
possible response (or perhaps lack of response) the goverment could take in
response to conspiracy theories circulating on the net. In the end he
rejects any sort of ban or tax and advocates that the goverment should
simply respond with counter arguments on the same forums that the
conspiracies circulate.
