What's it like to spend that Socialist Security check each month while
whining about socialism? A little disengenuos don't you think?

Can only answer for myself, but it's very discouraging. Had I invested the
same amount of money they pulled out of my paycheck all my life, I'd be
getting about ten times what they send me. Some REALLY GOOD two week pay
periods, I had more money deducted than I grossed in other good months.

So, everything is in trusts, and on paper, I'm such a pauper I qualify for
public defender, free cheese, assistance for free propane, cut rate drugs,
and so many other things I don't want to overload anyone's e mail account by
listing them here. Yet, I live well, eat well, travel, and indulge myself
at every opportunity.

I have no guilt because had they used my money like they said they were
going to, or at least in a prudent manner, they could give me all that stuff
anyway. I do have resentment, however, about people who get all these
things who DIDN'T work their asses off all their lives, but sat at home
smoking God knows what and porking their neighbor's daughter three times a
week.

I've worked 100 hour weeks many times, 48 hours straight, 118 12 hour days
straight (or slightly less many times), stood out in the rain and snow,
risked my life, got wet down to the crack in my ass, been life flighted
twice, and ambulanced out of a jobsite three times, and done scores of other
things to be "entitled" to my puny check. Yet, others who didn't seem to
have the same sense of "entitlement".

BTW, WTF does disengenuous mean, anyway? When I get my check, I feel
cheated more than anything.

Steve
