Default NAME THAT O'BOOVERVILLE!

"Stormin Mormon" wrote in message
...
Name your Obooverville!

Example (list yours below, multiples are ok) :

Chicago ... "New Kenya"
Chicago.... Wimpy City
Las Vegas.... Las Victims
Los Angeles..... Los Theconomy
Washington DC: On the Banks of Pathetic River
Seattle: Rain Flap
Lawrence Kansas: Dustbowl of Oatmeal
Rochester, NY "Got the picture yet?"

new york 23rd congressional district: "ain't-doug-hoffman-ville"

is this term "obooverville" now in common usage or is this something someone
here on this discussion group made up? i hope it hasn't "stuck" yet because
it's REALLY weak. it certainly doesn't roll off the tongue. i mean, i'm a
democrat but i'm surely hoping for a more witty use of language to create a
derogatory term describing any possible future obama "hoovervilles". like,
for example, "obamanation" is pretty good, that's witty. "obooverville" is
so clumsy and weak. you guys have got to come up with a better term. i
hope this term doesn't come into common usage. obooverville, duh. ugh,
what a weak witless un-creative term. anyhow, herbert hoover was a
republican. seems dumb to even vaguely allude to a republican when/if
you're trying to denigrate a democrat huh? kinda admitting hoover was a
**** up. i'm assuming republicans and capitalists still defend hoover.
wow, fascinating article on hoover.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_Hoover
they were calling him a socialist back then.
i didn't know he had a mexican repatriation program. wow.

thank goodness, i just checked urbandictionary.com, "obooverville" is not
listed there yet.

kinda like this...
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bushboro
rolls off the tongue, sounds funny, descriptive, witty, is an equal
combination of two words (instead of a 12 letter word with only two letters
of "obama" mixed in")
there's lots of good "bush..." isms there on that page, along the left hand
side. "bushed-up", "bush nomics", etc. etc.

how about "obamboro"?

b.w.
