a few days ago there were posts criticizing jimmy carter. what i thought
while reading those posts was, carter decided it would be better for himself
to be voted out of office rather than cause the deaths of hundreds/thousands
of young american men and thousands/tens of thousands of iranians. he
"stayed his hand" and refused public pressure to "go kill the ragheads",
etc. there are thousands of mothers (and fathers) all across america who
don't know they owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to jimmy carter. and
there are probably MANY of them who denigrate carter, call him a pussy, etc.
so you're saying bush invaded iraq because he didn't want to get voted out
of office? huh.

i have long hated high school bullies.

Carter is most likely the cause of tens of thousands of deaths. Indirectly
those of the Iraq and Afghan wars. When he let the Iran hostage debacle go
on for a year, he encouraged every Middle Eastern nutcase. Said the USA
were pussies, and were a paper tiger. Not a Bush suppprter, but do not give
any credit to Carter. Carter, 20% interest rates during his term.
