Default Mokume Gane - unusual metal working technique

hi there!

I wish to share with you a four hundred year old Japanese technique is
rarely seen today. Stacks of differing metals are fused in a kiln,
then carved, revealing intricate flowing patterns. Technical paper
discusses the use of modern technology in the process, as well as the
metallurgy of the metal bonding from a 21st century viewpoint.

Quite an interesting site and concept on how to make the patterns. I wish I
had time to do stuff like this... I'd make custom motorcycle parts out of
this stuff and charge two arms and two legs.
