Palin the pretender
"vinny" wrote in message ... look, she made a damn kickass move there if you look closely. You put her down as an idiot, but dood, she is smart, real smart. Not science smart, common sence smart. As governor she is in a bad spot. They are about to raise taxes and make some hard choices that will be exploited by the dems. So she exits saying its because she loves her family. Now she can concentrate on running for president with her excelent governor record. Now that aside, she is 500,000 grand in debt. She only makes a 100,000 grand a year as governor. But now...she can make 5 mill on her book deal. 10 mill on doing 50 speaches. etc... So by quitting governor, she will go from a half a mill in debt to a multi millionare. Now lets look at the results so far... Her polls are up 30% since she quit. She is on every channel and back in the spotlight. She's brought in an increase of 250% of donations. Women are lining up behind her because she is saying she is putting her family before her job. Plus she looks like a victum of the government...making her look like an outsider, something we all like. Everyone attacking her is hurting themselves and their own side. She is smart as hell man like it or not. She will be vice president at least in 3 years. Crist/Palin 2012. republican party will never run her for president. they only ran her for VP to soak up some of the disgruntled Hillary votes, there'll be no viable Hillary in '12. palin's talking about a third party. if she runs as a third party candidate she'll siphon off votes for anyone the republicans run (ala nadar/gore). she could never be elected president as a third party candidate. she has a loyal base, she's angling to be a power broker, behind the scenes wheeler dealer. it's only about her own ambition. i'd think if i were a republican i'd feel threatened by her and not be thinking of her as a warm fuzzy. sarah the barracuda. |

I'm a libertarian, and as far as I can tell, she's basically a bad joke. Thanks, Rich |

Saved for review for the next couple elections! Gunner "Lenin called them "useful idiots," those people living in liberal democracies who by giving moral and material support to a totalitarian ideology in effect were braiding the rope that would hang them. Why people who enjoyed freedom and prosperity worked passionately to destroy both is a fascinating question, one still with us today. Now the useful idiots can be found in the chorus of appeasement, reflexive anti-Americanism, and sentimental idealism trying to inhibit the necessary responses to another freedom-hating ideology, radical Islam" Bruce C.
