Does anyone have a favorite? There's lots
of stuff on the web, but most I found was
either very specific or fluff.

I like the Parker O-ring book, which I have in hardcopy at work. I
had a web link at one time, let me look. Ah, here it is, and now it's
in one PDF instead of the ten or so I downloaded previously.

It has sizes, compounds, gland dimensions, design criteria, and
chemical compatibility tables.
