To start a Jeep, current style, it takes a slide hammer and two

Old style took a simple jumper wire and a pocket knife

But, since its not likely you can do much more than fumble **** around

Actually a coat hanger across the starter solenoid and a stretch of wire
will do it. ASS LIPS!

On my first car, all it took was the cover retainer off the voltage
regulator moved down to short the ends of the two fuses, then pull the
start knob. Lucas electrics were very secure, NOT!
