Knowing as much as I know, about you, you may make a fine president, certainly no worse than McCain. With the obvious exception of not being a political insider and operator, which could impede your hypothetical effectiveness as president. An empty suit. Obama is quite the operator compared to straight talk McCain. Obama could make a killing selling cars, rust proofing, and extended warranties. Wes |

He beats The Right Reverend Jesse Jackson all to hell. IMHO, he's really just a black Slick Willy. I'm halfway through the second CD of his audio book _The Audacity of Hope_ now and haven't heard anything which would make me vote for him yet. (The book is my "know thine enemy" primer for November, an $8 in(di?)vestment.) What really throws me is the vast amount of various types of information he talks about. I had absolutely no idea that politicians were as well versed in their 'sins and omissions' g as he seems to be. They still pull all that ****, knowing full well what they're doing? Whoa! I royally underestimated their audacity and complete moral deficit. (No, I don't believe he'll fix it all, either. -- Smokey the Bear's rules for fire safety should apply to government: Keep it small, keep it in a confined area, and keep an eye on it. --John Stossel in _Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity_ |
