I have a recommendation for a cracker dog breed. Jack Russell Terriers are the most intelligent of dogs. Feisty little buggers with lots of character :-) The more miniature of the breed are absolutely ace dogs. they have lightning fast reflexes and are quite intelligent problem solvers ....for dogs. my two lasted 15 years.
