Okay, taking this thread a bit off-topic, can one still buy a half A
engine? I have a project in mind, but understand you cannot buy half A
engines anymore. The only one I have left is a Cub, and that is
dedicated to a vintage Ukie kit- do not want to use it on a new RC
project.

If you don't mind the smell, (- it's perfume to the oily-handed
brigade!), you can get a PAW 55 diesel from

A lovely little engine when it's run in. When I telephone to order one I
usually get through to one of the Eiflander brothers and you can hear
the machines running in the background. He will ask you to hang on a
moment while he wipes the oil off his hands to write down your order.
Next day it arrives in the mail. Excellent repair service; send your
engine off on Monday, it arrives back on Wednesday. I find it very
satisfying to talk to the man who actually makes the product; much nicer
than clicking on a webpage and getting an anonymous item from China via
an importer's warehouse.

Looks like it -- but from the wording, I wonder if it's not for
long...
