Maybe my neighbor's 4-year-old kid could help. He speaks English as well as
any of his friends, with no accent, and he also speaks Russian (mostly to
his mother) and Ukranian (to his dad and grandmother).

We were over to their house for drinks recently and I watched the kid slip
from one language to another without missing a beat. 'Makes me feel
inadequate.

BTW, the kid was drinking milk, not vodka.

Kids are amazing with language. No doubt in a few years he'll make himself
popular teaching his school mates the best
Russian profanities.

My older one is also bilingual (the little one is non-lingual yet, so
to speak). It is very easy for kids.
