Special Coolant-Thru Adapter Question - ER Style

Joe, maybe I'm confused, but those parts appear to be for a staionary ER holder, IOW for holding a drill bit or other tool in a lathe turret, and having through coolant for the stationary tool. I can understand why they suggested it might not work. Hadn't considered that... Seems logical now though... Might not be balanced for spinning... For a drilling operation, you need a Deublin coupler. Since you make your spindles anyway, the basic need is for the spindle to be hollow, sealed, and fed from the rotary coupler. deublin.com I'm checking that out now. What did I miss? Could be that *I* missed something. -- Regards, Joe Agro, Jr. (800) 871-5022 01.908.542.0244 Automatic / Pneumatic Drills:http://www.AutoDrill.com Multiple Spindle Drills:http://www.Multi-Drill.com V8013-R Did you find a solution Joe? |
