There seemed to be a lot of bidding way up into the high fractions of new prices, and quite a number of over-new price bids. For another example, a 2-ton Phase II arbor press (non-ratcheting) selling for $65 when the new, everyday price from Enco is $49.95. This has happened to several Hoff-Hilk online auctions in the last several months. There isn't a lot of transparency to bidders either. I did get a nice mill at a super price a couple of months ago, so it isn't all bad. Pete |

I also had my eye on the Webb vertical mill but I didn't have a chance to look at it in person so I passed. Steve Peterson |
