Hello !
Anybody have a favourite site to get CAD images of bits and pieces? Stuff like bolts, screws, nuts, handles, basic equipment? Reid Tools has some for example. The Thomas Register folks have a web site with standard parts from quite a
few manufacturers. http://cad.thomasnet.com/ McMaster-Carr also has a lot of their fasteners available from download - look for a CAD symbol on catalog pages and sub-sections. www.mcmaster.com Also check out W.M. Berg and Boston Gear for on-line libraries. Mike "Pete Snell" wrote in message ... Hello ! Anybody have a favourite site to get CAD images of bits and pieces? Some specialized components and things like bearings and sprockets are
available from the FIRST CAD library at www.firstcadlibrary.com these are in many different formats for autocad and Autodesk Inventor. These parts are specific to the FIRST robotics competition kit of parts but include many common components as well. In particular, the DC gearhead motors used in FIRST come from standard off the shelf automobile components such as car window, seat, and van door motors. |
