I'm trying to cut a thread on my Omniturn, threading on the back side
with the Omni T/T tool holder. Set X offset as a negative number as
manual indicates. If I enter diameters in G33 as a negative or
positive, the tool is way out in space. If X is negative, it completes
the threading cycle, out in space, and carries on. If I enter dia as
positive, it just loops continuously. Well, I don't think it takes 40+
passes to cut a M10x1.5 thread...

Can anyone with an Omniturn help me out a bit on exactly how to get
this done? My manual gives no examples of back side threading...

Thanks,

Jon

What, no answers yet? Surely someone here must know something about the
Omniturn.

Seemingly not.
