I've tried a bunch of newsgroups related to motorcycles
but most are very poor quality.
Can anyone suggest a newsgroup? I've got an R100RS (1982) so would
prefer a BMW orientation or touring.
Finally got the rocker cover to stop leaking, used Cat gasket cement
(the rubbery orange stuff - sticks like **** to a blanket!) No leaks.
Well..... not from there anyway. Thanks to all who responded.

Heh. Don't like reeky? It's been going downhill for quite some time.
RMH is tolerably good though, much better technical stuff. If you are
interested in bmw stuff there are mailing lists, and you probably know
about these sorts of things:
