Well another year and another Boeing donation season is over.
As of Friday I spent about $25,000 of the $60,000 given by Boeing to
the Seattle Community College District.

Miller Syncrowave 300 with Pulser
Miller Syncrowave 300 with Pulser
Lots spent in the tool room on taps, dies, mills, wrenches, and air
tools

Rolling tables
Aluminum sheet.
2200 lbs of square steel tube.
300 safety glasses.
500 pairs of gloves.
250 pairs of snips.
about 50 plastic tubs.
Exhaust blower.
100 lbs of hydraulic hoses with quick disconnects
100 lbs of electric cable
100 clamps
25 gas regulators
about 300 pounds of hardware.

and last but by far not least.

Marvel Model 8 Mark II Cut-off bandsaw.

The 2 best pieces were the Syncrowave 351 with all the bells and
whistles, and the Marvel saw.

So with the Syncrowave 300 I got from Boeing last year, the Syncrowave
250 we bought new 3 years ago, and the Syncrowave 351 we bought about
10 years ago, we now have 6 Miller Syncrowaves, 5 with pulsers and 1
with pulser and sequencer.

Oh baby.

I already retired our old Airco TIG and now I get to retire the 2
Miller Goldstars.

BTW anybody in the Seattle area who is interested in the machines we
are retiring.
I have been told by our dean that it is perfectly legal for us to trade
the old equipment off campus as long as no money changes hands.

So if you want a 300 amp Airco TIG machine or a Miller Goldstar, give
us something in trade.
Right now we need 14" abrasive chop saws and wheels, c-clamps, welding
wire, 7018 stick electrode, 9" right angle grinders, Smith Cutting
Torches, Airco and Smith Cutting tips, and new Miller wire feeders to
go on the Deltawelds I got last year and this year.

We can haggle over values

The next machines targeted for retirement are 3 Hobart Megamig 300's, a
Lincoln Idealarc TIG 300, and a Hobart Cybertig 120.

BTW we also have a large 30 ton x 6 foot capacity mechanical pressbrake
we can trade away.
