Where to buy a single, reduced-shank drill bit

Looking for an 11/16" drill with 1/2" or 3/8" shank. Just a single
bit. To be used for drilling alum and some wood so it doesn't have to
be some super, whiz-bang coated bit or alloy. Local hardware store
doesn't have 'em.

Thanks in advance.

MSC Direct has them in several makes/grades/finishes, $10-$40.

If the material you're drilling is thin, you might want to think about
a Unibit (step drill).

My local Auto Value store stocks them but the Chineeeese made them. Seem to
be OK. Horrible Freight has them too.

Those are called "Silver and Deming" bits for some obscure reason. Be aware that
some of them cut quite a bit oversize, so try it out in a piece of scrap BEFORE
you use it on your precious...

Thanks for the enco URL....I must have searched that catalog for about
an hour for the 11/16" and didn't find it.

As I need to order some other chea...err....inexpensive stuff from
them, I'll probably go that route.

thanks!
