You bring up interesting and provocative points but these appear
to belong in another newsgroup. One definition of cancer is uncontrolled growth without limit or purpose. When this condition exists we do not waste time saying "bad cancer, bad cancer," and trying to reform it. Indeed, from the cancer's viewpoint, it may be a highly virtuous and moral cancer, properly doing all the things that cancers do. Rather, we surgically remove what we can, apply radiation and chemo as possible to the rest, and hope for the best. Given the prognosis, based on the experience/history of previous states that have reached this socio-economic-political point, it appears the people and government of the United States are stuck in what Kubbler-Ross terms "denial" [*not* a river in Egypt]. See http://www.elisabethkublerross.com/ It may be time to wind up our affairs and prepare for an orderly [as much as possible] termination as a [the?] major worl power. Note that Spain, France, and England still exist, just not as "super-powers." On Sun, 31 Jul 2005 12:11:18 -0400, Cliff wrote: Anyone else spot the latest republican pork?
