Blind fundamentalism (is that a redundancy?) would seem to be a problem
wherever it crops up and appears to be a favorite tool for manipulating
especially the uneducated and economically disadvantaged. It's always amazed
me that the three religions who have their roots in the (same) old testament
and the same supreme being seem to have the most difficulty remembering and
honoring what they share.

What might that be?
They are all widely varied superstitions with hundereds, if not
thousands, of sub-branches.
One would happily murder the others over kissing snakes or
"proper" attire.
