Anderson windows will no longer sell the external mullion strips (grills)
seperately.

Does anybody know where to buy them ? 10' or 20' lengths would be fine.

That doesn't sound right. I would call them again and hopefully get someone
more knowlegable on the line. A mullion strip is not a grill and that might
be your problem.
